Ruth has been painting for about 10 years.  For the last four years under the mentorship of Fran Rutke, her life has changed dramatically.  Before, Ruth was a very casual painter, but now, she has become a person who lives, eats and breathes her art.

A large part of her painting revolves around nature, from the back roads of Northern Ontario, to the waters of Lake Superior and Georgian Bay.

Ruth is a member of A.R.T.S. (Artists Round the Sound), Parry Sound Arts and Crafts, and Parry Sound and District Horticultural Society.
